I Review Everything: Day 210 – Phone Battery

When I first bought my new phone the battery repeatedly drained at a rapid rate. It was frustrating. I was having to charge it multiple times a day. But recently that has changed. I am leaving it for multiple days without it running out, to my utmost surprise.

It may be that I am just using it less. It may be that the battery has improved – but I doubt it. Batteries are a pretty disappointing thing really. They really are holding us back technologically. There is so much we cannot do simple because our batteries are not good enough.

Because of that I give my phone’s battery a 3/10. You need to be better battery. I’m not angry. I’m just disappointed.

I Review Everything: Day 183 – Pokestops

There were 21 pokestops on my way home. If I detour a little bit, I could raise that to 25. If I work more often, I can get heaps of free drops. I would never run out of pokeballs. I would always have an egg to hatch. But maybe, instead, if I just repeatedly walk back-and-forth from work, I can grow my drop rate exponentially. I would level up so fast. It would be fantastic.

Don’t even mention the pokemon. I’m sure I would find so many more. It would be a fantastic way to find new ones as well.

There’s so many possibilities.

I Review Everything: Day 99 – My Phone’s Battery

It’s pretty crappy. I charge my phone every night, every single night. Still, it needs more half way through the day. I have to resort to using limited display, with most of the features turned off if I want it to last at all.

Isn’t it a bit ridiculous to have a phone with all these features, just to turn them off so your battery lasts while at work or university? I think it is. It’s disappointing. There is definitely a big issue with battery capacity right now. And if it isn’t solved soon, our technology will pass it’s use, since we won’t have the batteries to power it efficiently.

Maybe my phone is just too old? I constantly think to myself. But I know that isn’t the case. I know that all the new phones are the same. Batteries are lagging behind, and something needs to be done. This is when I realise that I shouldn’t have studied journalism.
